2022 Fall Live Online Class

    The Sunshine Elite fundamental math program is designed to enhance the school-learned curriculum by building up critical thinking in regard to algebra and related concepts.

    The goal of this course is to solidify students' math knowledge before taking the Algebra 1 class. The class aligns with Middle School 7/8 Math. The full course takes 2 semesters, or one school year, from Sept-Jun to complete.

    PreAlgebra A takes 14 weeks (usually Fall term) to complete. After this course, students can register for PreAlgebra B, which takes about 20 weeks to finish (usually Winter/Spring term).

    AoPS curriculum enhances school-taught learning at the problem-solving and advanced levels. It is also the foundation of competition math. 

    This full course takes 2 semesters, or one school year, from Sept-June to complete.

    PreAlgebra A (fall term) includes a thorough exploration of the fundamentals of arithmetic, including fractions, exponents, and decimals. We introduce beginning topics in number theory and algebra, including common divisors and multiples, primes and prime factorizations, basic equations and inequalities, and ratios.

    07/25 to 07/29  5 half day Monday-Friday 9:00am-12:00pm $250/camp Location: Rm 2

    This 2-week half-day camp reviews concepts of Pre-Algebra and prepare students for the middle school math placement test in August. Successfully finishing this Pre-Algebra review course will ensure that students are ready to start Algebra 1 or related classes in the Fall semester.
