Volunteer Opportunity for high school and 8th grade students
Sunshine is seeking enthusiastic 8th graders and high school students to join us as volunteer teacher assistants for our Sunshine Elite summer camps or afterschool program. We offer flexible volunteer hours, allowing you to choose slots that fit your schedule once your application is approved.
To volunteer at Sunshine, you must meet the following requirements:
1. Be a 8th grader or high school student with a GPA of 3.8 or above.
2. Commit to volunteering for at least 15 hours during the summer or once a week during the school terms.

4. Qualify for Sunshine Elite Scholarship: Volunteering hours at Sunshine Elite can help students qualify for various levels of the Sunshine Elite Scholarship.
Application Process:
1. Begin by registering for the "Sunshine Volunteer Signup" on the Sunshine website. Upon signing up, you will gain access to the course "Sunshine Volunteer Application" within your Sunshine account.
2. Proceed to complete your application by following the instructions on the "Class Page" assignment labeled "Submit Application Material". This entails submitting your most recent school transcript along with an essay about yourself covering the specified topics.
3. Sign up volunteer slots. Upon receiving the approval email from Sunshine, you can proceed to schedule your volunteer slots using the scheduling interface available in your Sunshine account.
