Course Objective: This class is a Biology and Chemistry class for Middle school students. After this class, students will be ready to take the high school level Biology or Chemistry. This class also help students to prepare middle school Science Bowl in the subjects of Biology and Chemistry.
The course will begin with biology topics in Fall term and then continute to Chemistry topics in Winter Spring term. The class will focus on the following topics:
- Biology: Cells, Genetics & Evolution, Heredity, and Human Biology
- Chemistry: Matter, Periodic Table, and Bonding
The curriculum is flexible per student background and interests.
Prerequisite: PreAlgebra

Life Science by Prentice Hall (for Biology);
Physical Science by Prentice Hall (for Chemistry)
