2022 Summer Live Online Class

    This is the CogAt training class for the rising 2nd-graders to prepare for the test in the coming Fall term.

    The rising 2nd graders will go to take the CogAt test at school in the coming Fall. A student in K-3rd grade who scores with 97 percentile at CogAt will qualify for the TAG program in Elementary School. A student in 4th-5th Grade who scores with 99 percentile at CogAt will qualify for the SUMMA program in Middle School.

    The Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT) is a multiple-choice test designed to measure a child's academic aptitude. It is used to measure cognitive development among children and is often used to identify gifted children for admissions into gifted and talented programs across the United States.

    The goal of this class is to let students familiarize with the test format and improve the cognitive and reasoning abilities by training. The verbal skills and some figure cognitive skills in the CogAt test may take more time to build up, which are the common weak areas for most students. Students who already finished the fundeamental CogAt training in Winter/Spring term may join this class to continue refine and improve their CogAt skills.

    The student performance report for test readiness will be delivered to your Sunshine account at the end of the term.

    This Summer online class is the replacement of our original Summer CogAT camps. Students who have finished the fundamental training class in the Winter/Spring term may continue to improve more by this class in Summer.

    SUMMA ITBS Reading/Math Camp I for Grade 4 and 5

    This is a camp for rising 4th and 5th graders in Elementary school who would like to prepare for the ITBS Reading/Math tests. The tests can be selected to take in the coming Fall semester. The ITBS Reading/Math tests scoring 99 percentile for both reading and math will qualify the SUMMA program in Middle School.

    Students will get to know the tests and work on the required skills in the camp. The student performance report for test readiness will be delivered home at the end of the camp.



    Week 2 (07/18-07/22)

    This is the 2nd out of 3 ITBS Math/Reading camps for 4th and 5th grade in Summer.

    This is a camp for rising 4th and 5th graders in Elementary school who would like to prepare for the ITBS Reading/Math tests. The tests can be selected to take in the coming Fall semester. Scoring 99 percentile in CogAt test will qualify for SUMMA in middle school.     This camp will teach the skills for all 9 sections in CogAt tests and do practice and mock tests.
