This class will start from Chapter 1 and finish the core AGS 3 curriculum by Jul 29 to meet the new BSD math placement test at the beginning of August. It's good for students who are ready to learn ahead in a fast pace or review and refine AGS III skills.
The AGS 3 and Algebra 2 Curriculum are mapping well with just minor difference. We will use the Holt Algebra 2 textbook to teach better and use the AGS 3 model tests to make sure students are solid in all topics.
All class materials will be provided in ecopy via the class page.
This is a fundamental Algebra 2 /AGS 3 course. The entire course takes 2 semesters, or one school year, from Sept-June to complete.
Successfully finishing this Algebra 2 /AGS 3 course will help with students' high school level math skills, making them well-prepared for Pre-calculus and math tests like SAT and ACT.
Who will benefit from this class:
Students who want to solidify/enhance their AGS III / Algebra II skills to prepare them for Pre-calculus and be more successful in the future PSAT/SAT/ACT tests.
Students who want to skip AGS III / Algebra II and take the Pre-calculus course in the new school year.
