Course Objective: This is the stem Chemistry class for rising high school students who want to learn stem Chemistry ahead. We will finish the first 10 chapters in the book. Students who finish this course will be prepared to take the stem Chemistry class with ease in their high school.
Topics to be covered include: Matter, Formulas and Names of Compounds, Chemical Quantities, Chemical Reactions, Stoichiometry, Atomic Theory, Electrons,and Patterns in the Periodic Table.
The class is strucutred based on the textbook below and accompanying work book.
Prerequisite: Algebra 1 or AGS 1
